kota bharu has always been a place i love, regardless being labelled as the poorest state in malaysia. this year - 2012 is the visit kelantan year. im wondering what can i contribute, besides providing the best service for visitors coming to the shop, i think im gona give kelantan a more interactive communication for outsiders who are coming or having questions about kelantan or kota bharu. hence the creation of my new twitter handle @DutaKelantan. this is my gift to the state government, helping them to assist tweeps who tweet about kelantan. being self appointed @DutaKelantan is not an easy task but i'll try.

you might be wondering why im so obsessed with kelantan? honestly i have no answer i consider myself being the living proof of most of the things you read in the mainstream news were not true. kelantan is my world.this place inspires me, to be tougher, to be wiser and to think faster. it maybe just a state to you but to me, its a shelter. so come to kelantan, give us a chance to pamper you with malaysian hospitality, kelantan style.

the last kl trip

a trip that give new hope. in my recent kl trip i had at last did the training that i had always wanted to do. yes, the training related to properties, to being a real estate negotiator. my elder sister has always been a fine example of how to be a successful ren.

the trip started with magic and miracles after the event of which i nearly miss my flight. i was still at home at 8.10am when the flight was scheduled to depart at 8.40am. then i also forgot to bring the flyers i made for a very good friend of mine for the business affair that we are doing. i met my respectable boss when i was working with radicare kelantan. having conversation with him was so interesting, i had to abort my initial plan to sleep the whole flight. ( i always have fear of flying, my only solutions is to sleep as soon as you're seated hoping that if anything went wrong, u wont notice it coz u're busy sleeping ). being a very supportive guy, i always gives honest updates about what im doing now. knowing him, he offers help immediately. he also told me the story of how successful his brother in law doing in business. he also updated me about radicare and people in radicare. then as we landed in skypark, i met a very old friend. we used to be closing partners when i was working in starbucks sunway medical centre. he told me, one of our good friend is still with starbucks and he is in starbucks skypark, unfortunately he was on 3-day leave.

i had my bfast in subway skypark while waiting for my sister. im glad the trip went well, just there's a lot to be done after that.

being an novice entrepreneur, im always busy ( alamak mcm iklan shampoo pantene lah! ), was in kuantan for a few days visiting my elder sister and her son. then as soon as i got in kb, i had an appointment with www.agoda.com representative because of the hotel project that i'm working with my landlord. that was last night.

earlier today, we went to the hotel for site visit and verification purposes. before i told him i had to leave as i had to renew my business license and permit in SSM and also the local city council.

i got a call from fireflyz to remind me of my return flight to kota bharu on the 15th that has been retimed to 8.20pm. i think fireflyz is a very comfortable airlines and its always an adventure travelling with them. i dont know, maybe because of the small plane. it always makes me feel like im in an indiana jones movies. anyways what i wanted to write in this post is about my favorite hair stylist.

i always have my hair cut everytime i have an important event. tomorrow, i have a training scheduled with a property consultant company in ttdi jaya. hence, the much needed haircut. so i made a call to zen and told him i want a haircut without having to wait. his assistant told just come right away. yeay! i feel like a brand new fros now. haahah. okaylah if you are in kota bharu and want to try out this saloon, just call frien* saloon @ +6.09.744.7730 to arrange for your slot. walk-in without prior arrangement can result delay.

kb, is quite walkable town in term of the town size. i can basically walk from one place to another in 15mins. the same amount of time driving because of the bad traffic, road planning and parking! so today i decided to take a bus from home to town, and walked to frienger. i had a very interesting day, was all over town, from bank negara to lhdn, to public bank jalan kebun sultan to maybank jalan mahmood before a friend was kind enough to offer me a ride back to frienger. thank u mie. i had a visitor in the office today, he is a very good friend of mine. he came to send my cheques. yes cheque with s. hehe i told him, wow its not very often people use al rajhi bank acc. he said he prefers al rajhi because the transaction was fast because there are not that many people in kota bharu's branch. then it struck my mind that how i hate maybank. i always have this love-hate relationship with maybank. i have actually, slowly changing my primary banking acc from maybank to cimb. i just notice that cimb banks are all over town and their cash deposit machines are more reliable than the one in maybank kota bharu. the only problem is, i dun hef current acc with them. within 15mins rwalking distance, i can find at least 3 cimb banks - thats how many cimb banks from where i work. back to a friend's visit story earlier, it has always been my habit, to return his visit soon. he has always been very helpful as a friend and as a customer. my cheque is always ontime! yahoo. i called my friend zain and asked whether he's free for dinner, zain, most of the time, will make an effort to his friends' request was free. we had our dinner at ayamas in wisma sali, kubang kerian before he sent me home. after my isya' prayer, i called it a day. unfortunately i woke up at 3am and unable to sleep, hence, this post. okay, i think i better perform my solat hajat before trying to go to sleep again.

our family is very loyal. we have our favorite tailor and i remember we always come here to alter, from pants to even bag! ismail, our favorite tailor is always patient with our (sometimes) ridiculous requests. this week, i brought 4 pairs of pants to alter. it was done immediately and it cost me only rm3/pant. very cheap as compared to the tailor in kbmall which is rm10/pair. ismail tukang jahit is located at the traffic light going to tesco kota bharu.
